President Jonathan pays surprise visit to Maiduguri

President Goodluck Jonathan has landed in Maiduguri Airport some hours ago in a surprise visit to the hotbed of Boko Haram's insurgency.

Reports have that ow that the President  Jonathan  went there for the first time in years. The president arrived at  Maiduguri Airport .

The National Security adviser, Sambo Dasuki and Chief of Defense staff, Air Vice Marshall Alex Badeh were with the president when he arrived.
 The two were said to have arrived at the Maiduguri airport in a separate airplane.
Governor Kashim Shettima got to the airport to receive President Jonathan.
