Mallam Habib
Abdullahi, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA),
was on Wednesday fired by President Goodluck Jonathan.
No reason was given.
Abdullahi was immediately replaced with Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero, a lawyer from Kano State, who will take over the position tomorrow, April 30.
The trend continues President Jonathan’s continued firing and replacement of officials of his administration since he lost his bid for re-election last month.
The officials, including the former Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, are thought to have contributed to Jonathan’s stunning electoral meltdown in some way.
