Kanye West Showers Kim Kardashian with Gifts While They Spend Mother's Day on Different Continents

Kim Kardashian West may have been on a different continent for Mother's Day, but that didn't stop husband Kanye West from pulling out all the stops for the special day.

North West's mom was in São Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday for a business trip to promote her recent partnership with clothing chain C&A to sell K Kardashian Kollection in Brazilian malls, as reported by Forbes in April.

Kim, 34, was surprised by her rapper husband not once, but twice, on Sunday with extravagant gestures.

"I got to my room in Brazil and my amazing thoughtful husband had the sweetest note with a couple thousand roses covering my entire suite for Mothers Day," Kardashian wrote on Instagram. In the photo, her hotel room is covered with vases of beautiful white roses. "I'm so sad I'm so far away on this day but happy we celebrated yesterday! I love you baby & North soooo much!!!"

Kanye wasn't done there, however. Later in the day, Kim shared another image on social media, this time of a live string quartet playing in front of the reality star's dinner table.

"So I get to a restaurant in São Paulo & my husband had a string quartet waiting playing Sam Smith," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote. "Every single waiter who brought food said 'This is from Mr. West for the best mother in the world'! Seriously I have the best husband ever!!!!"

Earlier in the week, Kim told Extra that she wasn't looking forward to spending the holiday without her famous family.

"I am actually so sad that I am going be in Brazil for Mother's Day, so we're doing something the day before," Kim said. "You know Mother's Day is kind of pretty low key. I saw my daughter doing a whole arts and crafts thing... so I'm sure that she made me something really special."
