Comedian Eddie Griffin appeared on Vlad TV’s webcast to offer insights into his views of racism in America as well as his thoughts on Donald Trump as a possibility as the next president of the United States.
After Kanye West made the announcement that he would be running for president in 2020, Griffin said he would support West over Trump, explaining that Trump was an “ignorant motherf#$%*.” He elaborated that Trump was good at making money, but that the Republican front-runner was ignorant.
In addition to these disparaging remarks, Griffin promised that if Trump won the election, he would move to Africa. Alec Baldwin, Barbara Streisand, Cher, and Eddie Vedder are celebrities who, in the past, have promised to leave the country if a Republican was elected as president. For them, it was George W. Bush being elected for a second term. America is still holding its breath waiting for these Liberal celebrities to make good on their promises, but so far, has been waiting in vain. Since that time, some of the above listed stars have either retracted their statements or denied ever saying them.
Griffin accused the Republican candidate of being racist. He said,
“If he wants to build a wall to keep Mexicans out, I know what the f$%# he feels about a n$%#&.”
Apparently, to comedian Eddie Griffin, having a strong border security, and enforcing Federal law translates to a hatred towards minorities. He alleged that there were already camps that were built to get rid of Black people, and that, because he is ex-military, he knows that the country has been practicing Martial Law on its people.
In addition to his threats about moving away if Trump is elected president, Griffin also made statements about the racism that he believes is alive in police forces across the nation.
Griffin agreed with the Vlad TV host who suggested that racist attacks from the police have been around for a long time, but are only being brought to the forefront of conversations because of social media. Because everything is being recorded with cell phones, the stories of police brutality are getting out.
Griffin did not suggest that a possible reason for the perceived racism from police officers receiving so much attention in recent history was due in part to having a president who has made suggestions of institutionalized racism many times throughout his presidency. A president who referred to his own white grandmother as a, “Typical white person.”
Griffin explained that the Ku Klux is no longer seen any more because they have picked up badges to beat up Black people legally. He also alleged that he had been a victim of a racist attack from at least one officer who targeted him because of his race. When asked about the circumstances leading up to the situation, Griffin simply said that it was because he was black. There is no record of this allegation because Griffin said that he felt it would be a waste of time to file a complaint.
Eddie Griffin is currently on tour throughout major cities in America.
