Emmy Awards: Chrissy Teigen hits back at cruel body-shamer

Chrissy Teigen hit back at a cruel body-shamer during the Emmys on Monday.

While the supermodel was at the 70th annual event to support her nominated husband John Legend, a commentator asked if she was 'pregnant again' via Twitter.
And the 32-year-old sarcastically put the hater in place as she responded: 'I just had a baby but thank you for being soooo respectful.'

Perhaps her stunning curvy figure prompted the online user to post: 'I'm asking this with the utmost respectful, but is @chrissyteigen pregnant again?'
But the Sports Illustrated Swimwear Issue alum wasn't going to let it slide as she reminded everyone she recently gave birth to her second child, Miles, on May 17.
She also shares one-year-old daughter Luna with John.
Meanwhile, the model looked absolutely stunning as she hit the red carpet of the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night with husband John Legend.

Sparkle all night like Chrissy wearing a Zuhair Murad dress

We can always count on Chrissy Teigen to make a statement at events and at the Primetime Emmys last night she didn’t let us down.
The model made a sparkling statement in this glittering gown from the Zuhair Murad couture collection and doesn’t it suit her? She paired the dress with metallic ‘Minny’ Jimmy Choo shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels that complimented the look.
The brand is coveted by celebrities when they need to reach the best dressed lists and we can see why, as this dress is just that with the cut-out high neckline, belted waist to highlight the figure and the wrap design that shows a little leg.
Metallics are everywhere right now so get in with the crowd and click (right) to treat yourself to something by the designer at Farfetch or browse the edit below to get the look for less. And with options by Quiz, PrettyLittleThing and Club L you'll be spoilt for choice.

No doubt she turned heads in a shimmering dark grey gown featuring a low-cut neckline which showed off her cleavage while arriving for the star-studded event held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
The clinging long sleeved gown featured shiny gunmetal colored sequins all over it and a thigh-high split with matching stilettos.
She accessorized with a black clutch and dangling earrings.
Chrissy had her medium-length highlighted locks combed to to the side as they cascaded just above her shoulders.
For makeup, Chrissy turned to celebrity artist Mary Phillips, who revealed that the two of them worked together to create a stunning look that focused on the eyes.

'We wanted the eyes to be the focus,' the beauty guru explained, before adding that that look was 'smudgy and sexy but in a very soft way'.
'Nothing over the top, just a beautifully smoked out,' she concluded.
To achieve the beautifully radiant look, Mary relied on a host of products from high-end brand La Mer, as well as popular makeup label Nudestix.

She started by hydrating Chrissy's face with the La Mer The Treatment Lotion, then added the original Creme de la Mer, before perfecting the model's complexion with the La Mer The Concealer and the La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation.
Chrissy's stunning red carpet glow came courtesy of the Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color Matte in In the Nude, which she used to create a 'fresh-looking, straight-from-vacay vibe'.
Then the eyes - the star of the show, as it were.

Mary filled her brows with the Nudestix Eyebrow Stylus Pencil and Gel, then moved onto the 'sexy smudgy smoke', which she created by applying the 'deep chocolate brown' of the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Color in Cocoa all over the lid - then added some soon-to-be-released shades from Chrissy's own collaboration with Becca.
Finally, she finished the eyes off with Nudestix Mascara and the Nudestix Rock N Roller Easy Eyeliner Ink in Black.
John, 39, looked dapper as always in a navy blue tuxedo featuring a black lapel along with a crisp white dress shirt and black bowtie.

During her appearance on the red carpet, Chrissy revealed to E! News that she had a nasty bruise around her knee as she 'fell up the stairs.'
The previous evening she took to Twitter to share a video of the black and blue injury.
She also talked to E!'s Giuliana Rancic about how her name has been mispronounced for years.
Chrissy said that there are other names of big stars who have had their names mispronounced more egregiously like Ariana Grande.
'That's way bigger,' Tiegen said. 'Mine is the least of anyone's worries.'
This year's ceremony will be co-hosted by Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che.
NBC is broadcasting the show which airs 8 pm ET/5 pm PT live on both coasts.
The network has a long tradition of picking variety show hosts from within its family.
Conan O'Brien hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards back in 2002 and 2006, while SNL alums and late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers hosted in 2010 and 2014 respectively.
It's a particularly exciting year for Netflix as they finally dethroned HBO by earning the most Emmy nominations scoring 112 nods, beating HBO's 108.
It is the first time in 18 years that HBO did not come out on top.
However, Game of Thrones still was the most nominated show with 22 nominations. HBO's other hit, Westworld scored 21 nominations, as did NBC's Saturday Night Live.

FX hit Atlanta follows with an impressive 16 nominations.
The comedy series will look to score its first Outstanding Comedy Series win, while its star and creator, Donald Glover, is up for his second Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series trophy (he also has nods for writing and directing Atlanta as well as hosting SNL).
Atlanta co-stars Zazie Beetz and Brian Tyree Henry also earned their first Emmy nominations for Supporting Actress and Actor in a Comedy.
Game of Thrones and Westworld will fight it out with Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale for Best Drama, while Curb Your Enthusiasm, Barry and Silicon Valley represent HBO against Netflix's Glow and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in the Best Comedy category.
