Official White House photographer, Pete Souza, takes, on average, between 500 and 2,000 photos per day of President Barack Obama. These behind-the-scenes images have rarely been seen, and showcase an amazingly intimate angle of one of the most highly publicized men in history. After seven years on the job, Souza estimates he has taken well over a quarter million photographs each year, amounting to a stunning portfolio of the First Family.
"I look forward to doing this one last time next year," wrote Souza in the introduction to his collection, referring to the President's last full year as Commander-in-Chief for 2016. Take a peek at the side of the Obamas you've never seen.
