Armed kidnappers on Tuesday abducted 72-year-old Inegite Jonathan, an uncle and foster father to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The septuagenarian was once kidnapped on February 28, 2014 and later rescued by security forces at Akipli community in Ogbia on March 10, 2014.
Mr. Jonathan was reportedly kidnapped at 10pm on Tuesday at his residence in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The spokesperson for the Bayelsa State Police Command, Asini Butswat, also confirmed the incident, saying the police were trailing the kidnappers.
The state governor, Seriake Dickson, had in his first tenure in office signed the anti-kidnapping law, prescribing death sentence for kidnapping.
No conviction has yet been made since the introduction of the law, while the crime flourishes in the region.
