Timothy Weah, the son of 1995 Ballon d’Or winner George Weah, has signed his first
professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 17-year-old forward follows in the footsteps of his father, who spent three years at
the Ligue 1 club, before moving to AC Milan.
Timothy has signed a three-year deal up until 2020.
“I am very proud to continue the adventure at Paris St Germain by signing this professional
contract.
“I am in a big club and I look forward to continuing to progress so that I can one day play
for the first team,” he told the club’s official website.
Timothy joined PSG’s academy in 2014 and has featured for both the U-15s and U-19s.
