Leonardo DiCaprio drowned in the icy Atlantic in Titanic and was shot dead by his mistress' husband in The Great Gatsby, but his onscreen suffering reportedly reaches new heights in his upcoming film The Revenant.
In a scene early in the film, DiCaprio's character Hugh Glass is viciously attacked by a bear who then flips him over on his back and proceeds to molest him.
'He is raped - twice!' claims Drudge Report.
The site also adds that the 'bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling.'
The scene is one of many in the harrowing Western directed by Birdman Oscar-winner Alejandro Inarritu that has many thinking DiCaprio will at long last pick up an Academy Award of his own.

DiCaprio spoke about the scene earlier this year in an interview with Yahoo Movies.
'[Those scenes] — amongst many other sequences — were some of the more difficult things I’ve ever had to do in my entire career,' said the 40-year-old actor.
'But the end result is going to be one of the most immersive experiences audiences will ever have with what it would be like to come face-to-face with an animal of that magnitude that is incredibly primal.
'It is absolutely startling and shocking, and it is the closest thing to documentary filmmaking — but in a completely stylized way that a lot of people never experienced.'
DiCaprio also gets naked and sleeps inside a dead horse in one scene for warmth.
The film, which also stars Tom Hardy, will be released on Christmas day.

It is worth noting that while Glass' attack by the bear is part of the novel on which the film is based, there is no mention of rape in the text.
The bear in the novel is also a female.
The incident is similar to one that happened to Glass in 1823, when the 43-year-old was attacked by a bear who was trying to protect her two cubs in South Dakota.
That bear was also a female.
The frontiersman was able to kill the bear and managed to survive the attack despite his injuries and being left for dead.
His six-week journey to return to Fort Kiowa is the basis for both the book and film.
Last week, Hollywood blogger Jeffrey Wells incensed many when he wrote that the violence in the movie made it 'too brutal' for women to watch.
He later apologized for his comment.
Reviews on the film are still embargoed, but those who have seen it have been able to speak of DiCaprio's award chances.
The actor has been nominated five times before - for his performances in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street, for which he also shared a Best Picture nod as one of the film's producers - but has never won.
